NEURO-FEEDBACK BRAIN TRAINING FOR PETS
Braining
Braining is short for “brain training.” It’s a great option for dogs and cats who struggle with anxiety. Neuro-feedback nodes attached to your pet’s body measure and interrupt turbulent brain activity. The training instantly and gently trains your pet’s brain to release habitually nervous responses to ordinary daily moments.

New to braining?
BRAINING 101:
Your pet’s brain (like a human’s brain) is always emitting electric signals in response to its environment. These signals travel along neuro-pathways in the brain. Sometimes trauma, repetition, or a variety of life factors can cause our brains (or your pet’s) to respond to non-threatening situations with elevated stress.
If your pet’s anxiety gets in the way of relaxing and enjoying life, Braining may help.
Braining may help. In a Braining session, EEG sensors are attached to your pet to monitor brain activity. Electrical information goes into our neuro-feedback computer, and when the system senses turbulence, your pup is gently brought into the present moment, where he or she is reassured that all is well.
Braining helps stop stress responses when there is no danger present.
Continued sessions help rewire neuro-pathways in your dog’s brain so your pup can stop feeling overly anxious in everyday situations.
Braining can strengthen your bond. A happy, relaxed dog is more trusting and more enjoyable to be with!
Why we’re passionate about Braining (and think you should be too😍):
We are trained practitioners who specialize in and use Neurofeedback technology.
A training session feels safe and feels soothing to pets. That’s because nothing is being added or “done to” your pet’s brain.
The technology works with music. Are you surprised? We use music because auditory feedback is the brain's most frequently used sense perception to gather information about changes in the environment.
Our Neurofeedback is 100% non-invasive and does not force brainwave or brain state changes.
Rather, your pet’s brain is being cued to engage its own ability to create adaptive brainwaves. At the start of a session, an anxious dog or cat may feel unsettled by the experience, but this is simply due to the newness and unfamiliarity with the sensations.
After the confusion settles, it’s our experience that fur babies typically begin to feel calm quite quickly.
Depending on your pet’s anxiety levels, we’ll create a customized training plan.

a few Benefits of Braining:
IMPROVED SLEEP
Calm dogs rest more easily and deeply which naturally enhances their waking hour moods.
OVERCOME PAST TRAUMA
Trauma can live in a dog’s memory, causing them to feel perpetually “on guard.” Braining can help release habitual turbulent responses to non-threatening situations.
DECREASED ANXIETY
Dogs who feel jittery during thunderstorms, on car rides, or around other dogs typically see a dramatic reduction stress.
INCREASED TRUST AND BONDING
When a dog’s brain can settle down, you and your pup can create more trust which means you’ll both experience less frustration.
ENHANCE TRADITIONAL MEDICAL TREATMENT
Calming brain training can be a great addition to traditional veterinary treatments.
GENTLE AND NON-INVASIVE
Braining uses soothing music that is immediately paused when turbulent brain activity is detected—thus, bringing your dog’s focus into the moment.
