Grounded Wellness, Built into Every Stay
Our Earthing Play system isn’t just innovative – it’s part of every boarding and daycare experience at Wags 2 Whiskers, helping pets feel balanced, relaxed, and at home.
Dogs play on the Earthing Play flooring, the same idea as the park or the beach: playing on the earth, the earth’s energy. Cats do not have that floor. Cats have earthing mats inside the kitty condos and outside them too.

When your pet is boarded or attends daycare at Wags 2 Whiskers, they’ll enjoy the benefits of Earthing Play – our proprietary grounded flooring system designed to help reduce stress, improve circulation, and promote calm social behavior.
Earthing Play is part of every boarding and daycare experience offered at our Wags 2 Whiskers location(s), including Culver City.

Every living body has a bioelectrical nature due to atoms that contain protons, neutrons, and electrons. An optimum environment at the atomic level involves balancing the three subatomic particles.
The Earth’s surface has a limitless and continuously renewed supply of electrons that help neutralize or regulate our body’s natural electrical charge—which is constantly bombarded with electromagnetic currents from the technology we use in our modern lives.
Earthing optimizes a living body’s bioelectrical system by connecting it to the Earth, a natural electromagnetic conductor.
In the photo on the left, you can see a construction worker installing the grounding rod, a critical step in creating our innovative Earthing floors. This makes our ENTIRE floor grounded—and means your pets are connected to the earth during every visit.
We worked with Earthing pioneer Clint Ober to develop our pet-safe Earthing technology. We help our clients continue Earthing their pets at home with our innovative pet beds, sheets, and pads. We even offer Earthing floor installation consulting.
Our floor is electrostatic dissipative (ESD), the same technology used in manufacturing plants and laboratories to ground and protect valuable and sensitive equipment like computer chips and circuit boards.
Our Earthing floor has a high carbon content, giving it natural antimicrobial properties. It also allows the free passage of negative ions from the Earth’s surface into a dog's body. These free radicals can help cells detoxify more quickly.
Our Earthing surfaces are cleaned with Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), a chlorine product with PH levels around 6.0-7.5 (the same as regular tap water), making it non-irritating to pets or people.
We've taken great care to ensure that everything we do at Wags 2 Whiskers contributes to optimum canine health. Our Earthing floor is complemented by our reverse osmosis water, red light therapy, HOCl cleaning products, and non-toxic grooming products.
Our Earthing floor is part of the Wags 2 Whiskers ethos. We strive to stay at the forefront of technology and harness the power of nature to provide the most compassionate and caring experience for our adorable pet guests.
